Jasmine's story
Most afternoons, a purple van parks at Sigler Park in Westminster. The girl drawn on its side is Jasmine Nguyen. The van is how her mom, Haley Doan, keeps her close.
Haley opened Greatea Bubble Tea House on Euclid Street in Anaheim in May 2021. She had been a medical assistant, and the shop was her dream. Jasmine was 4 when it opened, and she grew up there, dancing behind the counter and making the customers laugh.
"She loves boba. I think it's her. I think it's Jasmine, her bubbly side. She's always happy, dance."

The butterflies
Jasmine passed away on July 4, 2025, after an accident at a holiday party. She was 8.
More than 300 people came to her celebration of life at the shop. They wrote messages to her on paper butterflies. That's why you'll see butterflies all over this site.
Haley closed Greatea on July 26, 2025, the day before Jasmine's birthday.

The truck
Friends, neighbors and strangers gave to the family's GoFundMe. Haley used part of that money to buy the van. It's jasmine purple, it's named for her, and the cartoon on the side was drawn from a photo of Jasmine.
"This is kind of like the community truck. All the money that helped the grieving time, I used it to create her memories."

Haley parks at Sigler Park from noon to 5 and brings the truck to weddings and birthdays. Every cup you buy helps her take care of Jasmine's little sister.
"It warms my heart every single time looking at it. I'm driving around with her always there, and she's outside of my car."
